Adjusts in Size and Flowrate
Klir is adjustable in length and height to the size of your sump, exposing more filtering material and allowing for higher flowrates on larger systems.
Need to Go BIGGER?
For very large systems, an additional expansion trays and brackets are available to increase width and flow rate capacity of the Klir.
Each expansion tray add an additional 4 inches to the length of the Klir's effective filtraion area.
Each expansion brackets add an additional 4 inches to the height of the Klir allowing for hangin in depper sumps or basins.
Mounting Options to Fit Most Systems
Klir's modular bracketing system allows for multiple mounting options and the lack of fixed inputs makes it highly adaptable to your existing plumbing with little to no reconfiguration required.
Maintenance-Free for Months at a Time
Let the smart controller automatically advance clean material as it's needed, allowing for set-it-and-forget-it installation, while its fail-safe design offers piece of mind.
Durable and Reliable
Features dual optical sensors with no moving parts, eliminating the possible mechanical failure of traditional float valves.
When return pumps or protein skimmers are turned-off, the water level in your sump naturally rises. Klir incorporates a high-level optical sensor which deactivates the unit so filter material is not wasted when the level in your sump is above its normal set-point. A bright LED indicator and audible alarm allows you to see and hear the status of your Klir Filter.
Enjoy a Crystal-Clear Aquarium — Always!
Klir offers a filtering capacity of 50 microns making it two to four times more efficient than filter socks.
Most aquarium mechanical filtration incorporates 200 micron filter socks which begin to clog in a matter of days. Some very brave users opt for 100 micron socks which clog in mere hours. Leaving filter socks in your system any longer are detrimental as food and waste begins to decay within the filter sock.
Klir removes waste from your water column before it has time to break down and consistently filters at 50 microns unlike filter socks, whose filtering capacity naturally diminishes as they are used, washed and reused.
If you feel that 50 micron filtration is too agreesive for your system, then you can opt for a higher micron rating — 50, 80 and 120 micron fleece will be available.
Ongoing Service That Won't Break the Bank!
Each roll of fleece boasts an impressive 50 meters and provides months of service. Replacement rolls are economical and easy to replace.
The Klir Filter quickly pays for itself when you factor in the cost of purchasing, replacing and cleaning filter socks. Save money and a lot of time while you’re at it!
Designed for Ease of Service
The Klir filter boasts an open form-factor that's designed for ease of maintenance and servicing. Replacing fleece is a snap with removable roller guides that allows for the unit to remain installed.
All of the Klir’s components are modular, easily accessible, and replaceable in the unlikely case of failure.
Do to Klir's extendable form-factor, dimensions will vary based on configuration.
